Homework for tonight is to do the Arthropod coloring sheet, and to watch the squid dissection video to prepare you for tomorrow. Also, make sure to check your answers to yesterday's homework. We will continue with the arthropod notes after the dissection. Here is the outline of the days to come... Tomorrow (Thursday) - squid dissection and continue with Arthropods if possible Friday - Continue Arthropods Monday the 19th - Annelid/Mollusk test Tuesday- Grasshopper dissection - start Echinoderms if possible Wednesday/Thursday - Echinoderms Friday - Arthropod/Echinoderm test Monday/Tuesday 26th and 27th - Review Wednesday - Final Exam Remember that you can have a cheat sheet that is 1 page, single sided, 8 1/2 by 11, hand written.

Homework for tonight is to do the short Mollusk worksheet I gave you at the end of class. Tomorrow we will do the squid dissection - I am pretty sure I will be there tomorrow, so as long as I can get the squid tonight, we can do the dissection. The labelling quiz I was going to give you today has been postponed until Wednesday, and it will include the earthworm and the squid. All handouts are below. Word of the day for tomorrow (tuesday) is to tell me 3 things that all members of Phylum Mollusca have in common.
Homework for the weekend is to: 1. Finish off the Earthworm dissection lab - make sure to fill out all of the lab information and also make sure you upload your picture on Freshgrade. See yesterday's post for the earthworm dissection sheets if you need them. 2. Finish the Annelid worksheet you should have picked up after your test today. If you missed it, or if you need another copy, check below to download. 3. I might be inclined to give you guys a labelling quiz on the Earthworm on Monday just to keep you honest - so make sure you come prepared for that. I have been asked to reinstate Word of the Day, so here it is... Word of the day for Monday: Tell me 3 organisms that belong in the Phylum Mollusca.

It won't be a super long quiz, but it will be longer than the last one. Tomorrow we will also be doing a worm dissection, so come prepared for that. Also, make sure to finish off your notes from today - there was only 1 or 2 slides left.
Homework for tonight is to finish off the Nematode worksheet - both sides. I have also uploaded the answers to yesterday's homework - the 'worms' worksheet. Make sure you check it out. Quiz on Sponges to Unsegmented worms on Thursday. I will upload my pictures from the field trip later tonight. If you have good ones, send them on to me, and I can post them up as well.
Homework for Monday - do the Platyhelminthes assignment handed out at the end of class today. Also, make sure that you have finished the assignment handed out yesterday after your quiz. If you haven't done your quiz from yesterday, you will get it to write on the skytrain tomorrow - be prepared for that. For tomorrow: Make sure you bring everything I wrote about on the handout today. I've uploaded a map of UBC, so make sure to download that on your phone. We meet in my class at 8:30 = regular class time.
So apparently there were some `technical difficulties`today, so we`ll do the notes tomorrow. I won`t bother uploading them here - we`ll do them in class. However, please do the worksheet that you picked up after your quiz. I`ve uploaded a copy below if you need it. Lastly - Don`t forget to get your compass cards and load them with enough money for the trip on Friday.
